Hi my name is Vanya and I go to Paihia School, I enjoy making my Te Marae presentation but it was a little bit boring but I got used to it.

About Me

Kia Ora ko Vanya toku

ingoa. I am a year 8

student at Paihia School

in Te Ngahere and I am

12 years old. I am a

Māori from Waitangi.

I have 3 sisters and 4

brothers.

My hobbies are singing,

Kapa Haka, handball

and helping people.

The things Im good at

are singing, sport and

taking on roles of

responsibility. I like to

do spelling and learning

my basic facts in my

own time. I enjoy

working with my

learning baddies. My

goal for this term is to

learn all my basic facts

before next year. My

challenge is to pass my

learning goals for this

term.

I have two teachers and

their names are Whaea

Chrissy and Whaea

Becks, we have two

kaiawhina and their

names are Gina and

Matua Pep, Matua Pep

is also our Kapa Haka

teacher at our school.

My two favourite foods

are pies and pizza.

The most things I like

to do at school are

writing, Te Reo Maori

and art. I like to share

my work on my blog

because people from

other schools can see

what I have been

learning.
